The Expeition 54 is top of the Silva range of traditional base plate designed compasses. It has a precision sighting system, which allows for bearings accurate to +/- 0.5 degrees to be taken!
Specially designed to allow for working on map. The base plates have different scales and a built-in magnifier. Naturally they are equipped with luminous points for navigation in the dark.
Add the same map measuring scales and silicon grip feet, as on the Ranger 4, and you have a top-of-the-range compass for the advanced user!
